Resident Evil 5

I will preorder Resident Evil 5 for the 360 some time soon but I'm still unsure whether to get the regular release or the Limited Edition. Limited Edition would be sweet, and doesn't cost all that much more - and looks really cool.

The contents of the box is also a bit puzzling; the North American release seems to include a Chris Redfield figurine among a few other things, but I haven't seen those mentioned about the European release. Hope it's included, because it looks pretty cool. Probably won't get the LE unless it is.. :]

It's a shame they limited the players to only 2, but I'm anticipating it'll give me and my brother some fun nights... Nyihihi... >:)

Edit: It would appear that I confused the Collector's Edition with the Limited Edition. I suppose there would be a few differences, such as the figurine and what not. Oh well... Seems like the Japanese market gets the winning box anyways -- that shoulder/waist strap would be pure pwnage. :D

Edit 2: After having played the demo I'm convinced I MUST HAVE THIS GAME, NAO! GIEF MOAR ZOMBEEHS! O NOES OUT OF AMMO!

New clothes for spring

I'm looking for a new jacket, something like this which I think looks pretty sweet.

The only problem is size; I've ordered from X-tra-X in the past, and picking the right size has been difficult. Especially when an L / XL (don't remember which) shirt fit my sister rather well, and she's an S..... >_>

Book: Låt den rätte komma in

...or 'Let the right one in' / 'Let me in', if you'd prefer the English title. It's written by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist. My brother's girlfriend spoke highly of this book a while back and my [other] brother bought it for me for christmas.

Synopsis: The story revolves around Oskar, a 12-year-old-boy who is being bullied and beaten at school. He dreams about the day when he'll be strong enough to fight back against his aggressors. He befriends a girl, Eli, who moves in next door with an older man, Håkan. Eli is mysterious and special, unlike other children Oskar know of. They only meet during the nights, and these meetings turns into an oasis for Oskar, in his otherwise rather horrible life. When Eli helps Oskar fight back their relationship go beyond that of just being friends.

I fell in love at page one and could hardly put it down. It's written in a way that reaches out, grabs on to you and embraces you in a warm, familiar hug. I read some 299 pages (of about 410) in one day, reading the last bit the next day -- I would have read it all in one go, but I had to go sleep. Stupid, stupid work, how I loathe you..

The only thing I found to complain about is that there's just. not. enough. scenes. with. Oskar. and. Eli!!!! When I had read the last page I was left with a big empty void; I wanted to read moar. MOAR!!!

They're such a cute couple. :'-]

Happy New Year!

...or lets at least hope it will be. :p

I've had a habbit of not making any New Years Resolutions (or rather making the Resolution not to make any Resolutions), but this year I'll make an exception. With the help of my recently purchased Hiragana/Katakana workbook I'll pick up my Japanese studies again, and a little will be done each week. Period.

I'd love to join a real class to better learn Japanese, but I doubt that will happen during this year. Maybe next, who knows. Baby steps.

See you in 2009!
